ASST FINANCIAL CONTROLLERS X 2, WOODMEAD, R27 – 30 000 + BEN

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Accounting/ Finance/ Bookkeeping/ Cost Management (NQF Level 5).

• SAP – Super User

• High Proficiency in MS Office, master user in MS Excel.

• 3 years experience in Accounting or Cost management (Controlling) in a production environment.

• Able to travel 1 x per month to different Plants


JOB PURPOSE

To assist the Country Controller with controlling of fixed and variable costs of all plants and the reporting of the information on a monthly basis. Assisting to ensuring the plants adhere to the correct financial disciplines. To generate daily, weekly and monthly production control reports.

• Assist with local control:

o Establish efficient internal controls and procedures.
o Define, review or recommend changes to the company’s operational processes e.g. purchasing, order routine, consumptions, stock control (flows, valuation administration process for finished goods and raw materials).
o Ensure compliance with accounting standards and the maintenance of general ledger chart of account.
o Perform daily, weekly and monthly controls checks on production process/consumptions
o Analyse results of control checks and do follow-ups with Plant management to understand deviations.
o Perform monthly analysis on stock movements and follow-up with management to understand abnormal movements.
o Compile Industrial budget.
o Assets Register – Maintenance and housekeeping.
o Creditors queries; manage and report.
o Plant visits once a month.
o To support Plant Manager/staff when requested.
