Qualifications / Experience:
•Qualified Instrumentation trade
•Minimum N5 Instrumentation qualification
•Minimum 5 years’ hands-on industrial experience.
•Good knowledge of pressure, temperature and flow equipment.
•Strong PLC knowledge
•Strong DCS/SCADA knowledge (Yokogawa)
•Knowledge of analyzers will be an added advantage
•Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System will be a strong advantage.
•Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Knowledge of the OHS regulations

Job purpose:
•To ensure the availability of the plant by maintaining the instrumentation equipment according to Our Client standards and by applying best maintenance practices.
•Minimize shutdown time by planning and controlling allocated tasks.
•Participate in investigating and taking corrective actions in the event of instrument failures and or incidents.
•Ensuring that Our Client’s safety policy is applied by executing scheduled inspections.
•Applies instrumentation theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational control equipment and circuitry.
•Assembles and test experimental and operational instrumentation devices, solenoids, and other equipment and components according to engineering data, Our Client best practice’s and knowledge of instrumentation principles.
•Good fault finding techniques on all DCS process related incidents with corrective action.
