Australian customer service agent - Cape Town

Foreign Language Placements is currently looking for customer service agents who have a passion for customer service and online marketing. They are looking for customer service agents who seek to work within an online marketing environment that boasts a multi-national staff contingent for their client in Cape Town.


Responsibilities:



  • Responding to customer queries by telephone, email and online chats

  • Processing and taking ownership of all incoming and outgoing contacts in a multimedia environment

  • Completion of tasks assigned during shift

  • Customer relationship building and management as well as cross selling of products and services

  • Problem solving tasks during shift

  • Handling and taking full responsibility for customer related queries

  • Excellent time management and adherence to schedule

  • Performing extra tasks given by managers / shift supervisors as required


Requirements:



  • Must be Fluent in English

  • Must have lived in Australia for at least 10 years

  • Literacy in MS Office: Outlook and Excel, and good word processing skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven knowledge in the application of Customer Services Centre technical systems

  • Ability to apply new technologies and methodologies

  • Highly numerate

  • Good client relationship management skills

  • Excellent time management and adherence to schedule

  • Willing to work shifts where necessary

  • Pro-active, organised and strong personal drive
