Automation Tester – Sandton

We are looking for an automation tester, with experience in testing business functional requirements. Regression, usability, sanity and functional testing methods, Quality Center, automated regression and performance testing.

Extract requirements
Design manual test cases for each test scenario
Identify test cases for automation
Analyze test requirements using proven test techniques
Designs test cases and test scenarios based on an analysis of the business specifications.
Ensure that all the identified defects are resolved
Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Test process and methodologies
Provide estimates for completing test cases and execution
Test Plan
Test cases and execution
Design, write and store all test cases in Quality Center
Prepare and provide a walkthrough of all test scenarios
Design manual regression test packs
Ensure Functional testing, End to End testing

Qualifications and experience
IT diploma or degree
2 to 3 years test analyst experience
SDLC (strong functional knowledge of Testing)
Regression, usability, sanity and functional testing methods
Experience using Quality Center
Some exposure to automated regression and performance testing advantageous
Testing Methodologies
Process awareness
SQL scripts
Interpreting business and technical specifications
Business Communication skills (verbal and report writing).
