GRADE 12 + TRADE TOOL, JIG &DIE MAKER + ISO 9001:2008, ISO18000 + ISO 14000 ESSENTIAL + EXPERIENCE AUTOMOTIVE IND + 5 YEARS PRODUCTION/MANUF EXP + EXPERIENCE USING 2/3D SOFTWARE

Objective
To design and control jigs and fixtures as to maintain dimensional stability in the manufacturing process.

• 100% inspection of all parts/components as to establish a top 10 requirement
• Direct involvement with proto type design and follow through
• Adherence to quality standards must be maintained as to ensure best practice principle
• Design and manufacture within a safety first yet cost effective mythology

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum qualifications and experience:
• Grade 12 essential coupled with relevant trade qualification
• Good understanding of ergonomics and mathematics
• (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 18000, ISO 14000) exposure and knowledge essential
• 5yrs Production/manufacturing experience essential

Knowledge and Skills
• Must be able to create/edit drawings using 2D/3D software
• Must be able to use measuring equipment (i.e. Measuring tape, vernier callipers, micrometers,
viscosity meters, crack and fatigue measuring equipment)
• Sound knowledge of steel, welding and post metal (i.e. metal finishing, polishing, painting) –
Metal forming.
• Must have motivating / leadership skills
• Must be able to organise and work on own initiative
• Must be energetic and goal orientated
• Must have good communication skills

General:
• An aptitude for simplifying assembly and sub assembly processes in the manufacturing stages.
• Ability to work to time and QA standards
• Ability to work within a team
