MANAGER:  AVIATION SECURITY COMPLIANCE

JOHANNESBURG

What will you be responsible for?

• Develop, implement and communicate Aviation Security Compliance strategy and provide input into overall Operational Governance strategy;

• Manage departmental operations including departmental budget;

• Manage internal and external auditing processes and compile relevant reports and ensure quality assurance;

• Prepare and update Airport Security Plan (ASP) and ensure implementation;

• Review and authorize mandatory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);

• Ensure compliance to the security Quality Management System (QMS);

• Chair Operational meetings and attend stakeholder meetings;

• Conduct strategic resource planning;

• Manage the performance of staff and introduce remedial processes where necessary and perform quarterly Performance Management System (PMS) assessments;

• Develop Human Capital in line with relevant policies and procedures;

• Build and maintain sound internal and external stakeholder relations whilst balancing enforcement with professionalism.

  What minimum requirements would we need to see in your cv?

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management / Risk Management / Compliance or related field;

• IATA Diploma is an added advantage;

• 3 – 5 years Operational experience in the Aviation environment;

• 3 years Managerial experience;

• Knowledge in conducting inspections and audits;

• Knowledge of quality control principles and risk assessment;

• Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
