Aviation Medical Assessor (2-Year full time contract)

Centre: Midrand, Johannesburg

Remuneration: Negotiable (Market Related and negotiable dependent on experience, qualifications and skills)

KPA’s: Oversight of the Medical Certification Processes and Procedures; Oversight functions of Public Health Risk in aviation; Oversight of medical legislation; Assist with the Ambulance Operations and First Aid Cabin Crew Training; Provide medical insight to accident investigations

Competencies (Behavioural and Skills): Advanced Communication and Writing skills; Management and Problem Solving skills; Conflict Management skills; Assertiveness and Analytical ability; Strategic and Lateral Thinking as well as Professional behaviour.

Minimum requirements: A MBCHB or equivalent Doctorate degree; Post-Graduate Diploma in Occupation Health / Public Health, Administration or related medical post-graduate qualification. A Valid Driver’s Licence; Minimum of 5 years experience in Administrative Medicine, Public Health, Occupational Health and/or related field; Candidate must be a Regular Designated Medical Examiner. Two years experience as a Medical Exminer / Public Health Officer / Regulatory environment of Administrative Medicine
