B-BBEE Channel Account Manager

Educational Requirements:
Matric

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years in direct sales
Corporate experience
Must have at least 2 years relevant experience in this arena
Thorough understanding of B-BBEE codes, charters, knowledge etc. (previous experience non-negotiable)
Able to communicate effectively
Must be computer literate in Word, Outlook & especially Excel
Own Transport & valid license

Responsibilities:
Meeting sales targets consistently
Closing of deals in conjunction with partners
Monitoring of competitors & competitor products
Suggesting relevant product feature enhancements or changes based on feedback received
Sourcing new avenues of business
Building the channel base with new partners
Building & maintaining relationships
Keeping & maintaining accurate records and systems
Remaining up to date with relevant legislative changes, acts, charters & codes etc.
Responding to any issues, complaints etc.
Meeting with partners & clients, able to present to them

Additional information:
Basic salary R35 000 – R40 000 + commission, petrol, cell allowance
Must be well spoken & presented
Must have own transport & valid driver’s license
Must be able to travel frequently (locally)
Must have a clear crim record
Previous relevant B-BBEE experience & knowledge is non-negotiable
