The main purpose of the job is to ensure effective prospecting of opportunities to sell the companyĆ¢??s products and/or services to the reseller channel. The person in this role needs to build strong relationships with customers and clients.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric
- Higher education – Diploma /Degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and/or product management
- Detailed understanding of turnover and profitability, sales cycle, aged stock and key products
- Driver’s licence

Roles and Responsibilities
- Quote and Place orders for customers.
- Provide customers with necessary technical/sales/marketing information as required
- Provide and assist customers with written proposals for tenders or opportunities
- Keep abreast of the latest technical innovations, applications, market conditions, problems, interests, competitive activities and identifying new potential products and services
- Recruit new customers and maximize the spend of current ones.
- Understand the competitive market, both supplier and Rectron competitors with regards to pricing, unique selling points, differentiators etc.
- Ability to communicate customer concerns, requests, etc., professionally within the relevant areas of the company.
- Increase Turnover and GP for the company.
- Ensure that payments are made
- Ensure that goods are correctly delivered
- Work with channel partners, to understand market changes and demands
- Seek and identify new channel opportunities.
- Focus on new business development and emerging markets.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers.
