OverviewOur Client a small 5 Star hotel in Sandton part of a Hotel Group , is urgently recruiting for a ( duel Role ) - Banquet Manager / coordinator for their new conference and banquet facilities. It is anticipated that although the facilities are reasonably small they are be busy enough to require the services of a Manager / Coordinator - responsible for the full coordination and management of the Conference and Functions department and certainly a candidate with experience in both disciplines.RemunerationNegotiable : R 15 000 - R 18 000 per month ( based on experience)Educational Requirements
Matric - essentialTertiary Hospitality Diploma / Degree - Hotel / F&B Management ( prerequisite for this position)
ResponsibilitiesTo organise and monitor the quality of Guest events on behalf of the entire Conference and Banqueting Department.The Banqueting / Coordinator Manager’s responsibilities and duties will include:
Supervising Food and Beverage services as they relate to his or her departmentManaging the reservation schedules 100% efficientlyAssisting with the preparation of the department’s annual budgetsSupervises the quality of services offered to Guests, in terms both of production and serviceRecruiting, managing and motivating the members of his or her teamEnsuring that the brand standards are appliedEnsuring that health and safety rules are applied and respectedControlling and managing the Banqueting team
