Position: BI & Data Analyst (IT)
Type: Permanent position available due to IT company growth
Area: Stellenbosch – Western Cape

Minimum requirements & experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with focus on data analytics/statistics - discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years database programming experience required
• Big data ecosystem experience
• Solid Excel, SQL and RDBMS skills
• Knowledge and experience of infrastructure servers and OS (Windows, VM)

Advantageous
• Experience with commercial BI and Data Analysis Tools (SAS, Tableau etc.)
• VB, VBA, ASP .NET MS ACCESS, Java

Roles and responsibilities
• Work with Business Development Manager to appoint channel partners
• Assist channel partners and customers with installation, integration, training and technical support
• Become a ‘product expert’ in our industry, understanding hot issues and new developments
• Understand the needs and requirements of different industries, thus aligning product and service offerings to customers and channel partners
• Engaging with customers on benchmarks using their data and Envision
