Our client is a market leader in their industry and always looking to hire exceptional people and provide them with an environment where they can excel. They have a vacancy for a BI Developer/Database Administrator Team Lead. The purpose of the role is as follows:
• BI Development and Testing.
• Front end (look & feel) design on Qlikview.
• Database administration & manipulation to create SQL statement, etc.
• Testing of own and colleagues’ code.
• Provide Project Management Support.
• Provide Development Support

Requirements:
• Excellent understanding and practical experience in Qlikview is a must!
• Good computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
• B.Comm, B.Eng, BSC Eng, BSC Informatics or related degree / diploma
• Excellent understanding and practical experience in programming (Object
• Orientated language) an advantage
• Good understanding and experience in using J2EE application server i.e.
• Tomcat / JBoss an advantage
• In depth knowledge and experience in using UML.
• MySQL Enterprise edition knowledge and practical experience. Other
• Database Server i.e. DB2/SQL/Oracle knowledge and experience an advantage
• Worked in a multi-project environment before.
• Knowledge of and exposure to SDLC / Change Control / Release Management.
