Position: Boilermaker
Location: King Williams Town-Eastern Cape

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
? Complying with the company’s Health & Safety Policy.
? Liaising with Maintenance Foreman & Quarry Manager regarding the upgrading and repairs of plant equipment.
? Conducting daily checklists 
? Assisting the manager with adhoc tasks.
? Maintenance of Crushing Plant, Conveyors, scales, crushers, feeders, etc.
? Liaise with Controller regarding the upgrading and repairs of plant equipment.
? Effective dust suppression implementation and maintenance

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
? Applicants must be in possession of Grade 12 (Matric) / N3 Certificate coupled with 3 years working experience in a similar position.
? Qualified Boilermaker who is in possession of a recognised Trade Test Certificate.
? Experience in stone crushing/quarry/ readymix concrete industry.
? Basic Pneumatic / Hydraulic knowledge & Lubrication management experience advantageous.  
? Good knowledge of crushers
?  At least five years experience, ideally in a Quarry/Mining   Industry.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
? Good problem solving skills 
? Must be “hand-on” person who takes initiatives and have an ability to maintain excellent quality standards. 
? Must be able to arcweld and do fitting.
? Applicants must be willing to work irregular and extended hours from time to time.
? Drivers licence.
