Our client requires the services of a Bond Store Manager to manage and maintain criteria for Bonded Warehouse as relates to SARS and SR requirements.

Key performance areas:

? To manage bonded stock in terms of current legislative and business requirements
? To effectively manage the bond book
? To ensure that an audit cycle across the bond spectrum is maintained
? To ensure that current IT systems are current and relevant
? To ensure the timeous submission of the Excise Account
? SARS Requirements are adhered to at all times
? Department of Agriculture Requirements are adhered to at all times
? To ensure all warehousing processes are adhered to
? Monitoring of acquittals
? To ensure the 2 week turnaround time is maintained
? To ensure all reports are done and published on time
? Training and development
? Staffing – input to final decision
? Provide feedback and solutions to team
? Forecasting, planning and objective setting (long and short term)
? Operational performance monitoring
? Roles and responsibilities
? Policy and procedure management
? Evaluate and communicate operational change
? Cross functional facilitation
? Resolve escalated problems


The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a relevant qualification
? 3 – 5 years relevant experience
? Proven managerial skills
? Bond / Export procedures experience
? Sound knowledge of Bonded Goods Warehousing, SARS Requirements and Department of Agriculture Requirements
? Valid driver’s license
? Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
? Computer literacy
? Excellent planning and organizing skills
