Bookkeeper

Location: Tamboerskloof, Cape Town
Salary: Negotiable
Duration: December ‘17 – May ’18 (5 month contract)

About the Role:
A very busy, medium-sized company is looking for a Bookkeeper to assist the Financial Manager for a 5 month maternity cover contract from December 17 to May 18.

Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years Bookkeeping experience is essential/non-negotiable
Pastel experience is essential
Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
Diploma or Certificate in Bookkeeping / Accounting will be advantageous
Excellent attention to detail

Duties:
Full Creditors function
Assisting with monthly preparation of Financial Statements
Assisting with Human Resource Management
Manual submissions & reconciliation of IRP5's on EasyFile
Processing of job files in Pastel
Tax submissions (PAYE; UIF, SDL & VAT)
