Busy & Thriving Security Firm in Edenvale looking to appoint a bookkeeper ASAP.

MUST HAVE PASTEL PARTNER & PASTEL PAYROLL EXPERIENCE!!!

Your duties (amongst others) will be:

Check bank balances & complete bank recons
Daily payments
Doing all immediate payments during the day
Uploading bank transactions into Pastel
Creditors recons as and when needed
Attending queries as and if needed. (all departments and companies)
Calculate salaries for employees
Pay salaries as calculated via Pastel Payroll
Do monthly journals for Management accounts
Do bank recons (all companies)
Debtors and creditors recons
Check and ensure accounts are ready for management accounts(trial balance)
Do all entries (bookkeeping) for companies
Salaries function
Submit and pay EMP201
Vat recons
Submit and pay VAT201
Check SARS & SOA for any problems
Prepare and check all companies excluding,including adjustment entries and intercompany recons
Calculating and submitting EMP501-Bi-annually
Invoicing
