Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper job duties include
Working closely with our accounting team to create and maintain financial records on Sage Pastel Accounting
Daily processing would include accurate capturing and reconciling supplier invoices, accurate capturing and reconciling of bank accounts and processing of debtor transactions
Keeping a proper paper trail and maintaining a filing system also forms part of the daily duties of the bookkeeper

Requirements:
Ideal candidate would be a certified bookkeeper with verifiable experience as a bookkeeper up to trial balance level.
The candidate should be very comfortable with Sage Pastel Accounting software and have a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles, including South African VAT, is also required
