Central Technical College has the following vacancy for a Branch Manager based in Braamfontein:

Purpose of the position
The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the regional business unit and sales force in order to achieve the annual sales budget set for the unit and to optimize branch/business unit resources as set by the Intec Sales Division.

Roles and responsibilities:
• Oversee, direct and lead the daily operations of the campus.
• Work closely with committees and academic boards.
• Implement programmes and activities to achieve business requirements.
• Manage the income streams & the operational expenses budget.
• Liaise with external agencies to ensure that the institution is in compliance with regulations.
• Manage and co-ordinate marketing activities at Campus level.
• Responsible for drawing up and implementing the part of the National Sales Strategy and Operational Plan that apply to the business unit/ branch.
• Driving the performance of each member of the sales team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as against individual targets with a view to achieve monthly targets set for the Business unit by liaising, interacting, coaching, recognizing superior performance and addressing sub standard performance of team members.
• Ensuring that the Business unit/Branch recruit, select, assess and appoint sales and admin people as and when required adhering to the Recruitment and selection policy.
• External and internal relationships are managed effectively to ensure the best service delivery to students.
• Managing and developing departmental and responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
• Must have a minimum of a degree and at least 4 years managerial experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Previous experience in the educational industry would be advantageous.
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Relevant tertiary qualification (i.e. Diploma / Degree)
• Excellent people’s skills
• Highly target/sales driven
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Be customer service orientated
• Proven assertiveness and problem-solving skills
• Highly self-motivated
• An active understanding and interest in the Educational environment
