A JHB based company is looking for an experienced Sales Manager in the insurance industry.

•Advise agents on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
•Assess marketing potential of new and existing locations, considering statistics and expenditures.

•Confer or consult with businesses to plan advertising services and to secure presentations

•Confer with potential customers regarding needs and advise customers on types of products to purchase.

•Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of products and services.

•Direct clerical staff to keep records of and to maintain current information.

•Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales and service accounting and recordkeeping.

•Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.

•Oversee and observe sales staffs.

•Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.

•Prepare and meet targets and budgets for the branch.

•Represent company at all levels to promote products.

•Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.

•Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.

•Visit existing clients to stimulate interest in establishment or expansion


Requirements:

Matric (Tertiary qualification in sales and marketing an added advantage)

RE 5

2 years in management

Benefit:

R3500 Basic Salary plus commission (Average salary with comm is R15K+)
