We are currently looking for a branch manager for one of our well established clients in the freight & logistics industry.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate
Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or equivalent qualification
Sound experience in shipping processes, containers management ETA and Cross Dock.
Sound experience and knowledge of financial controls, managing of a P&L GL as well as budgeting process.
Knowledge of warehousing and management of related process and operations.
Ability to manage staff with strong IR knowledge and strong communication skills.
Ability to liase with clients at boardroom level.

Responsibilities:

Effectively manage the daily operations and to take control of all aspects of the day to day management of staff, clients, KPI, SLA, financial controls, service providers and all contracts.
Ensure the effective management of daily warehouse operations.
Manage staff compliments of warehouse on cross dock and warehousing.
Manage all aspects of KPIs and SLAs
Ensure feedback to all clients on all aspects of the operations.
Ensure and manage all stock takes and planning of inventory control.
Effective people management skills.
Lead by example and ensure company policies and code of conduct is applied and adhered to all times.
Manage all aspects of IR issues, security of the site, all products and the building.
Ensure and manage all maintenance of equipment and the building.
Management of all spects of daily, weekly and monthly reports, PO, leave, staff cost, service providers costing and day to day feedback and monthly meetings.
Dealing with customer queries on a daily basis including all internal quality audits, external audits.
ISO type of experience or QMS.
