• R13500 and R17500 depending on experience plus profit sharing (will be explained in the interview).
• A Company bakkie is available to the successful applicant and can be used to get to work and back, but not for personal use.

Purpose of the role:

The position will be available from the 1st October but we want to find the right person who is looking to build a career and work with us for many years to come. We are willing to wait and would rather find the perfect candidate.

Main Functions:

• Control of branch staff
• Running of the branch
• Control of receiving, dispatching & buying function
• Promotion of both internal and external sales
• Merchandising
• Calling on customers daily &, improving external sales
• Internal sales
• Branch administration(banking, Quotations, cash ups, backups, petty cash, invoicing, goods received, daily reports, budgets, recons, ordering, goods received, credit notes, sales forecasts, stock takes, filing)
• Stock control and pricing
• Credit control in liaison with group accountant
• Intercompany liaison
• Deliveries
• Collections
• Road shows
• Marketing
• Service calls
• Problem solving
• Drawing up schedules
• Resolution of staff disputes
• Assembling of light fittings

Requirements:

The following criteria is essential:

• The applicant should have at least 3 years sales and 5 years managerial experience.
• The applicant must have worked in retail and be between the ages of 26 years and 36 years old.
• A minimum of two years pastel experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Lighting Experience
• Emotionally stable
• The job entails working weekends and time off is on a rotating basis
• It is a hands on job
• The applicant should be administratively strong and very definitely sales orientated.
