BRAND AMBASSADOR – JOHANNESBURG
Wine and Spirits Distribution Company is looking for a Consumer Development Brand Ambassador in Johannesburg.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning
• Drive innovation for market advantage.
• Maintain and promote corporate image.
Marketing
• Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by implementing and evaluating merchandising and trade promotions programmes.
• Build and maintain market share in pre-defined regions through implementation of permanent branding initiatives, trade and sales incentives, promotional activity and strategic events partnerships.
• Build relationships with key accounts/customers.
• Execution of the brand plan within the pre-defined region.
• Oversee and train the outlying regions’ promotional supervisors and manage regional brand ambassadors.
• Regular reporting submitted to the Marketing Manager.
• Ordering of all On-Consumption POS, kits and branding materials.
• Work closely with the Promotion Co-ordinators.
• Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements.
Finance
• Manage marketing budgets within responsible portfolios.
Competitor Engagement
• Create deep understanding of Competitors and their activity.
• Identify and exploit market potential.
• Assess target-market needs.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 with a 3 year degree/diploma in marketing/brand management.
• Code B drivers licence and own transport.
• Proficient in MS Work, Excel and PowerPoint and SAP.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in events management, consumer goods on brand or in trade.
• Extensive knowledge of the local music industry.
• Must be willing to work long weekends and evenings.
Salary: R25 000 to R30 000 depending on experience.
