Brand Communications Manager - Johannesburg
To serve as the brand communications manager for the organization to craft, develop and maintain the company brand, including messaging, tone, design and public relations at group and divisional level in all touchpoints. This position is responsible for developing and managing corporate-level branding programs, which cover extensive disciplines from Corporate Identity management, brand activities and campaigns, employee brand ambassadorship, major group events to brand planning processes and operations.
The incumbent needs to coordinate at strategic and execution levels with other functions in the organization and with partners and vendors.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, writing or similar
+4 years’ Experience in Financial, Chemical and/0r mining industries a major plus (Need an experienced resource in crisis Management – from similar industry – Cement/Aggregates

Risk and Policy
Experience in Media strategy development
Experience in Brand Narrative development for large, multinational companies
Extensive command of Communications planning and management
Sound Relationship management, leading, organizing, inspiring cross-functional teams/groups
Financial acumen in respect of budget planning and control
Sound understanding of our industry and dynamics
Must be organized and be able to manage multiple complex projects
Able to work under pressure and extended hours to meet deadlines.
