Brewpub Manager required for esthablished Craft Beer Brewery & PubOur Brewpub Manager plays a significant role in our drive to educate and make people as passionate about craft beers and ciders. We’re just as passionate about ensuring our visitors and staff alike have the best experience possible. The Brewpub Manager’s role includes:engaging with customers about our brand, craft beer and cider and the brewing process. managing the daily operations of a 120-seater brewpub, meeting sales targets and motivating the team to ensure that everyone’s experience of our brew pub is more than memorable and that they leave converted craft beer and cider aspects of staffing (recruitment, appointment, training, management) of 14 permanent and up to 12 casual staffstock control and cash upsmanagement of the kitchen with a kitchen manager as your assistantinputs into the production based on customer feedbackinputs into the development of new projectsWorking hours are 9 am to 7pm Wednesday to Sunday.3 years’ management experience preferably with a hospitality back ground is required.Previous experience in the craft beer industry is not expected but would count strongly in the candidate’s favour. Our brewery’s modus operandi is very much team focused; we’re a family with every member valued for their contribution. We work hard and play hard. We are energetic and spirited.Our brewpub manager needs to be a natural leader and motivator, friendly and outgoing, neat and personable, enthusiastic, sharp / observant, have initiative, be practical, 30 – 40 years (give or take a few), non-smoker, love people and dogs, and lead an active lifestyle. Our environment is structured but fun with the owners (a husband and wife team) working full time on the production, marketing, admin and overall management.The brand is 9 years old, extremely well established and respected in the craft beer industry with a solid reputation.Salary R15,000 - R17,000 per month.
