BRIDGE ENGINEER – DURBAN / JOHANNESBURG

Area: Durban / Johannesburg
Salary: ± R 700 000 k p.a

Experience:
• Need B.Sc (Civil Engineering) degree
• Need professionally registered engineer with CESA (Council of Engineers in SA)/ECSA (Engineering Council of SA)
• Need a balance of Engineering and Consulting (definitely not a Site Manager)
• Need a balance of Strategist and an Implementer
• What is an Engineer – more especially Bridge– remember these words: planning, infrastructure, drawings, costing, designing of material-structure-systems which considering practicalities-regulation-cost, estimations, people management, project management, risk management etc.

Personal Qualities:
• Sound understanding of engineering design
• Strong technical understanding
• Plan and coordinate projects
• Work independently or in a team
• Reliable and competent with strong creativity
• Attention to detail,
• Excellent leader or manager skills & abilities
• Good communications skills
