A client based in the Pretoria Central area, has a vacancy for an Enterprise Content Management Business Analyst (ECMBA) – 12m Contract.

• The ECMBA must have an understanding of Agile methodology
• Experience in gathering business requirements and who will be involved in the design or modification of business systems or IT systems
• Interact with the business stakeholders and SMEs in order to understand their needs
• Conduct business analysis and document requirements in a manner that is suitable for ECM solutions (ECM programme)
• Identifying systems solutions to problems, bringing business and information technology (IT) together, translating business requirements into solution requirements and conveying the business requirements into the development space
• Focusing on business optimisation and investigating more efficient ways of working and organising resources to achieve business goals
• Bringing together different elements of the business by performing a consolidation and innovation role in order to create new or different alternatives and solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
• Identifying stakeholders who are impacted by an initiative or share a common business need
• Planning and executing business analysis activities
• Consulting with business to understand business objectives, drivers, functions and structures and developing detailed workflow analyses
• Consulting with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, document and validate requirements for changes to business processes or systems requirements
• Analysing the feasibility of ECM options, recommending viable solutions, validating these with stakeholders and updating the business requirements specification or change request document
• Document the specifications for a chosen solution in terms of information systems, processes and people requirements
• Interacting with architects and developers to ensure the system is properly implemented and monitoring whether requirements are being met
• Managing the quality of the solution being deployed
• Managing change requirements and specification
• Participating in user acceptance testing (ensuring the deployed solution meets the business need)
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
• B degree or equivalent (BCom Informatics, BSc Informatics, BTech)
• Diploma in Business Analysis
• Minimum eight years’ experience in business analysis
• Solid exposure to Agile methodology
• Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Content Management Business Analysis (ECMBA) - minimum of 5 years’ experience in ECMBA)
• Casewise Foundation Certificate will be an advantage
• Knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
• Skilled in business process models analysis, design and documentation
• Skilled in using modelling tools (required)
