A top industry player in the Savings and Investment banking space seeks a Business Analyst.
 
The person must have a solid business understanding relevant to banking or financial environments and able to perform the following duties:

• Access, analyse and optimise end-to end business processes
• Documenting business process requirements through research, interviews or facilitation sessions
• Understand and assist in creating the best and most suitable system design solution that meet the user requirement
• Identify process improvements (Cost Savings or efficiency improvements)
• Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders like technical, business, project managers and testing analysts
• Knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and providing proactive advice and solutions to interested party
• Oversee the compilation of test scripts

 
Qualifications:

• BSc Comp Sci, BEng or BCom Degree
• Business / Financial University degree (honors or masters);
• BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation ) Course, PM training (Bonus)

 
Experience:

• Must have previous Banking /Financial Institution or similar sector experience (essential)
• At least 4-5 years practical experience, specifically in business or IT related functions
• Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities
• Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
• Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal & visualizations
• UML
• Progress reports/Dashboard Reporting
• Full Test Case Development and Testing
• Process flow incorporation
• Visio, Aris, Ms Project reports, project plans, scope and documentation
• Systems Development Life Cycle
• Data Mapping, Data Analysis
