More than 5 years experience as a BA.

A Financial Leader seeks a Senior Business Analyst with a Software Development background that can stand-in for his Development Manager if necessary in an advisory capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting, validating and translating business requirements into functional specifications that are used by developers to craft a technical solution.
• Testing and validating the functionality of the technical solution
• Translate the business vision into the design
• Connect the business model to the systems architecture
• Interfacing between the business client and the development team
• Working with multiple business areas and multiple teams that require deep integration of solutions
• Lead a team of business analysts in a business area
• Stand-in for his Development Manager if necessary in an advisory capacity
• Identify and highlight opportunities for improvement
• Perform Project Management activities across multiple projects, such as providing the client as well as relevant team members with estimates of the duration of tasks

Qualifications: (Essential)

• B. Comm Informatics
• UML Expert courses
• BPMN Advanced course
• IIBA certified

Minimum Required Experience

• More than 5 years experience as a BA
• Experienced in testing
• Solid Cross Departmental experience

Knowledge :
Processes -

• ITIL (Incident, Change, Release, Problem Management), CMMI, PCMM

Technologies –

• SQL, UML, XML, OO

Other –

• Solution architecture, data modelling techniques, UML Process Design, Industry compliance standards and legislation
