Business Analyst – Centurion – R350k to R380k Our client requires a candidate with 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst; Interpret business needs to create Business Requirements documents and Functional Requirements documents
Duties- Develop a strong knowledge of the business and its processes as well as the applications that exist to serve the business needs.
- Use Enterprise Architecture tool to create Requirements documents where applicable.
- Work closely with business to elicit requirements, document analysis
- Conduct requirement extraction workshops, document business process descriptions, document use cases and scenarios and document task- and- workflow analysis.
- Document requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language, in a clear and unambiguous manner
- Decompose high-level business requirements into functional requirements.
- Participate in requirements prioritization.
- Manage requirements traceability throughout project.
- Produce User Interface mock-up screens.
- Provide Data mappings and assist in database design.
- Perform system testing.
- Assist in the implementation and support phases of the project.
Qualifications & Experience - BCom IT / BSc IT / 3 year Post-grad qualification
- 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
- Prior experience in Development/Systems Analysis arena
- SQL - Database, Queries, Reporting & Data Modeling and Mapping
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of process flow charts, sequence diagrams and use cases
- Create innovative and logical solutions to problems while following governance guidelines.
- Superior ability to create business requirements and functional specifications
- Experience in using Sparx Enterprise Architect Tool
- Data Analysis experience.
- Information Systems Design
- DBA (specifically Database performance) skills
Salary is negotiable on experience.
