A Home Loans division at a Leading Banking Sector seeks a Business Analyst with Banking experience to
·         analyse, design and document work flow, manage and provide solutions to new ideas, trends and concepts as well as document requirements for products, processes and systems.
 
Responsibilities:
·         Help business to implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way
·         Use requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment.
·         Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure
·         Oversee the compilation of test scripts, compiled through testing and audit the test results.
·         Analyse business and/or technical problems relating to the acquiring infrastructure and provide recommendations and solutions
 
Skills include:
·         Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
·         Understanding of systems engineering concepts
·         The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
·         Business case development
·         Modeling techniques and methods
·         Leadership
 
Qualification:
·         BSc Comp Sci, BEng or BCom Degree
·         Business / Financial University degree (honors or masters)
·         Additional qualification would be considered favorably
·         BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation ) Course, PM training (Bonus)
Experience:
·         Must have previous Banking sector experience(essential)
·         At least 4-5 years practical experience, specifically in business or IT related functions
·         In depth knowledge of the mechanics of financial markets
·         Practical leadership and management experience will be advantageous
·         Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities
·         Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
·         Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
