We are looking for a Business Analyst for a client in the Eastern suburbs of Johannesburg. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of the full SDLC, process optimization, facilitate UAT and User Interface Design/Layout. Position is for a 12 months contract.

Analysis and design:

• Identify Business Improvement and Optimization opportunities that will result in improvement of process performance and ultimately in EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization)
• Adhere to Corporate Governance as per King III commission declaration, inclusive of risk identification and mitigation.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with all stakeholders
• Provide constant status and feedback as to business analysis deliverables the business analyst is responsible for.
• Determine, document and review user requirements for all systems.
• Review and understand system functionality applicable to the project the business analyst is assigned to.
• Translate the user requirements into functional system requirements in line with the current system functionality and future roadmap and document this.
• Design and document business solutions (process, system and measurements) that meet current and future user requirements.
• Review and re-engineering of company processes in order to meet the required service levels,
• Review technical specifications to ensure user and functional requirements are met.
• Develop training material and provide training sessions to maintain end user efficiency
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct research relating to the company’s business and systems.
• Responsible for other duties / projects as assigned.?

• Communicates actively throughout the project teams and the Projects and Business Optimization teams
• Involves the stakeholders in decision-making processes and provides regular information on progress

• Responsible for playing an integrating role across different functions, systems, processes and areas of work in the projects he/she is assigned to.
• Highlight problems and / or opportunities resulting from the business analysis performed, which are not always clear to line management in those areas

• Review of business process and system performance in assigned projects and find creative ways to enhance this performance or perform the functions in a different way.
• Innovative solutions to ensure that functionality and business improvement is delivered on time according to best practices for his/her projects
