An award winning Financial Services provider has an opportunity for a Business Analyst on Junior Management level to join their technology team.

Responsibilities:
• Investigating, analysing and documenting of business functions and processes
• Performing impact analysis to identify interfaces affected by new systems or changes to existing systems
• Identifying business needs and determining effective solutions to business functions and processes
• Acts as a mediator between the business and the IT development team
• Documenting underlying business architecture and conducts feasibility studies, business cases, risk assessments, writing proposals, and creating functional requirements for new applications and major changes to existing applications
• Documenting Test Plans and coordination the execution thereof

Experience and Qualifications
• Matric + (BCom, BSc or relevant Degree)
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• Business Analysis diploma
• 4+ years’ IT Business Analysis experience
• Software development lifecycle (SDLC) both product implementation and custom development
• Knowledge of methodology and tools, including model driven design (MDD) and service orientated architecture (SOA) modelling
• Understanding of Business processes and procedures
• Practical skills with Business Process Modelling (BPM) and Mapping
• Ability to document functional requirements
• Facilitation skills - one on one and group sessions
• Technical Report writing skills
• Strong Oral and Written communication skills
