Role Description
Emergent Energy is looking for business development graduate who has majored in any commerce course. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge sales and business development practices.

Emergent Energy is one of the leading solar PV specialists in South Africa delivering full turnkey solutions to its clients. Emergent Energy is an entrepreneurial company backed by large shareholders, namely Stellar Capital Partners and AEEI. The company operates from two offices, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The person will be responsible for leading general business development (renewable energy/solar PV systems) through multiple types of initiatives including networking with partners and suppliers. An involvement in Project Management is also required.

Qualifications / Technical Skills
• University degree/diploma required in business-related course
• Passion for technical matters and Business-to-business sales

Key Responsibilities
• Generate leads and manage projects with the client until commissioning
• Present and sell our solar PV solutions to prospects, by using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of the products and services
• Develop a strong network of partners by building strategic relationships
• Build trust by interacting with others in a way that instills confidence in one’s own intentions and those of the company
• Uphold and promote the company values
