PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To increase the Company’s market share by selling appropriate risk solutions to new and existing clients within the Advisory Division. The incumbent will report into the Branch Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
o MATRIC
o Level 4 FETC Short-Term Insurance Qualification
o RE: Representatives
o Clean drivers licence and reliable vehicle

2. Experience
o Junior Sales Consultant
o Min 2 years’ experience within short-term personal lines insurance, including 1 year in a Sales Brokerage Environment
o Sales Consultant
o Min 4 years’ experience within short term personal lines insurance, including 2 years in a Sales Brokerage Environment
o Senior Sales Consultant
o Min 6 years’ experience within a short term personal lines insurance – including 3 years in a Sales Brokerage Environment

Key Performance Areas and Outputs
1. Growth portfolio
o Develop and Implement Pro- Active sales plan according to agreed Targets
o Meet agreed new business targets
o Provide after sales service to ensure/ new business Vest

2. Perform Administration
o Load policies, amendments and endorsements on the system promptly
o Ensure 1st premium payment processes and debits are discussed and agreed with the clients

o General correspondence and e-mails to clients according to company standards
o Responsible for Pro-Active underwriting.
o Responsible for Re-Active underwriting.
Adhere to underwriting criteria-FAIS requirements and set company standards
*PAY STRUCTURE
R15k ctc basic + R7k for the first three months and thereafter it will R15k + 50% of whatever is written
(policy has to be active for 3 months).
