PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Primary objective is to meet company production targets
Acquire, develop, maintain and retain financial intermediary relationships
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Meet company production targets
Distribute products to financial intermediaries
Monitor the resolution of intermediary queries
Identify, understand and record the business profile of each financial intermediary
The boarding of professional & profitable financial advisors
Operate within expense policy & budget
Tracking of sales targets and understanding individual profitability
Have a clear understanding of the administration processes
Effective organisation and classification of intermediary panel into A,B and C categories
Keeping up to date with competitors’ products, service offerings and industry developments ,in order to counter products & strategies
Understand FAIS, CICSA and Related South African Financial Services Regulation
Identify and report areas of non-compliance in terms of the relevant legislation
Create a sustainable operational environment through being innovative and adding value to your area of operations
Maintain effective communication procedures and controls between Itransact and IFAs
Backup other team members if appropriate
Develop strategies to counter competitor products
Organise & facilitate financial advisor workshops
Stay current with industry affairs

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years financial services experience
Business development experience
Broker consulting experience essential
Diploma in Marketing / Sales and / or a Degree
Successful completion of RE Exams essential
