RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (FMCG INDUSTRY) (FRENCH SPEAKING) for a national company, position based in Durban.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
English / French speaking. Person must be able to speak French fluently.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Knowledge of exports and the logistics thereof.
Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing deals.
Good knowledge of FMCG products.
Experience in export trading is essential.
Good mathematical understanding and an ability to read numbers / figures.
Working knowledge of INCO terms both on a buying and a selling basis.
Achieve profit budgets which the candidate would annually set with the approval of the Managing Director.
Seek and identify opportunities in the market.
Successfully negotiate a trade (sale) using negotiation and salesman's skills.
Maintain a high level of service to clients through relationships and relationship building.
Comply with the regulations of the various markets.
Comfortably work within the company's logistical and financial controls.
Person must be able to travel abroad every 6 weeks or so and spend approximately 10 days away from home, seeing customers and extending / developing business.

Salary offered: market related and based on experience, which includes a basic salary and commission.
