You'll work as a trusted and integral team member reporting directly to the Executive Head: Sales, Marketing & Distribution, responsible and accountable for the development and implementation of the Scheme's Business Development Strategy with particular emphasis on implementing the Scheme’s growth strategy through Business Intelligence identifying corporate business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Locate or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and financials; evaluating options
Focus on attaining corporate membership representation and implementing a business development strategy that is key in mining their
Business Intelligence

Candidate Requirements:

Tertiary Qualification in Marketing/ Commerce- qualification not negotiable
Business Management, Customer resolution and healthcare product development over a five to ten year period
Sales, Marketing and minimum 5 years relevant experience at the appropriate level in healthcare
Experience with medical Software packages, Management and proven leadership at senior level
Specialised knowledge of marketing and sales concepts
In depth knowledge of consumer psychology e.g. developing high level business relationships
Bilingual - Afrikaans and English - not negotiable

Only candidates with a relevant (marketing/ commerce/ sales/ business management) tertiary qualification and in-depth knowledge of the medical aid industry/ healthcare sales & marketing environment will be considered for this position - these requirements are not negotiable
