Leading manufacturing company based on the West rand of JHB is looking for a Business Development Manager.Generate sales for the company, obtain orders and process customer queries in a sufficient and timeous manner in order to generate revenue for the company.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Conduct customer needs assessments, product specifications and prepare quotations in conjunction with technical, production and sourcing departments.
• Process quotations and official orders in a timely manner to ensure client's approval.
• Follow up on quotations sent and record reasons for unsuccessful quotations so that improvements can be made when submitting future quotations.
• Develop and execute call plans in order to generate business and reach potential clients.
• Report on performance and present sales reports relating to performance targets.
• Maintain a methodical filing system of all administrative and sales records so that information can be accessed effortlessly when needed.

EDUCATION:

• Grade 12 (minimum)
• Relevant tertiary Diploma/Degree

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 3 years sales and marketing experience.
