Roles and responsibilities of the Business Development Officer

1. To look after the internal sales and marketing problems and issues of the country assigned.
2. Will be responsible for analyzing daily sales reports and stock verification report from the assigned Country Manager.
3. Will be responsible for coordinating every aspect of the business with the assigned country manager.
4. Forms an important role as a communicator between the Country Manager and the Head Office.
5. Would use his contacts in the assigned country and provide lead to the Country Manager of that country.
6. Research work for the country manager of the country concerned and then provides important information to the country manager.
7. To help provide a competitive price list to the country manager in case of any price competition prevailing in the country.
8. Coordinates with other agencies handling the cargo/container of the company.

Marketing Strategies

1. Targeting important dealers and distributors in the market of a given country.
2. Having a competitive pricing in place.
3. Using the local media for spreading awareness of the product.
4. Touring the market and talking to the buyers personally and making a sound relationship with them.
5. Having our post sales service mechanism in place.
6. Promptly solving product queries of our clients.
7. Increasing promptness in the delivery of the product to our clients.
8. Taking the product to the market with confidence and its complete knowledge of quality.
9. Having to develop solid convincing and negotiating skills and concentrate on developing the product as a brand.
10. Use the demographic analysis to trace the most potential customer base/bases.
11. To chalk new areas of consumption by doing a careful survey of the area.
