Our client is looking to emply a  Business Intelligence Developer to work in a report development and technical support role. The candidate will be a member of the  development team, designing and developing BI Reports for Practice Management systems, by using SQL Reporting Services. This will include undertaking research tasks, report development, supporting acceptance testers with problems they encounter in testing and feedback from clients.
The ideal person for this role will be a person requiring limited supervision and with about 2-5 years (or longer) experience in a SQL database environment using Windows applications. The person will have good communication and interpersonal skills.

SKILLS REQUIRED ESSENTIAL:

• MS SQL Server development experience (2008, 2008R2, 2012, including T-SQL, stored procedures and functions)
• In depth technical skills and experience (implementation, development, testing, databases, etc.)
• MS Windows support experience
• MS Office experience
• Good business and application sense
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage responsibility in an independent manner.

DESIRABLE:

• Computer science or relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience with relational database design and/or administration
• Cube report development
• Accounting or Database applications development experience
• Experience and/or Training in the design, analysis, specification and development of systems
• Software support experience
• VB.NET Developer training.
• Other beneficial programming languages: Java Script, HTML5.
