Purpose of the job: To manage the full portfolio with regards to Replenishment, Management of DC & Retail margin as well as selling prices for both DC and Drop Shipment products. Management of general admin and promotions well as all daily reports.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Achieve budgeted sales target
• Achieve budgeted gross profit for DC & Retail
• Manage Stock Holding to budgeted levels
• Management of inbound supplier service levels
• KVI price management
• Drive sales and manage expenses & recoveries in line with the budget.
• Manage GP percentages per category & recoveries from suppliers.
• Verify pricing claims for drop shipment and direct suppliers.
• Effective communication with customers (internal and /or external)
• Align supplier strategy with DC strategy.
• Monitor and manage the dog line products
• Replenish stock at competitive prices
• Data management through AS400
• Liaise with retailers to negotiate deals
• Maintain required stock levels within the warehouse

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
• Matric – Mandatory
• National certificate / Diploma in Marketing Management or similar – Recommended
• Diploma or Degree in Purchasing or Commerce – Recommended
• 5 years’ experience in Retail or Marketing environment
• Strong negotiation and effective communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Team worker who can also work independently
• Previous F.M.C.G. buying experience is required
