Procurement Officer
National Food Manufacturing company wants to employ a Buyer with Food Industry experience.

Purpose of the Job: To provide a procurement service to the company consisting of the sourcing of raw materials, services, catering equipment, furnishings and smalls required to maintain uninterrupted production lines with a strong focus on improving the procurement processes, systems with optimal saving initiatives for both the factory and the Patisseries as a whole

Duties:
• To develop ,manage and coordinate procurement processes
• Source and identity new suppliers
• To place orders, prepare purchase orders and receive delivery confirmations
• Ensure all raw materials documentation are in compliance with the GMP standards and government regulations
• Sales, Planning and forecasting

Requirements:
• Grade 12 / Matric
• 3 Year Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain will be an advantage
• Advanced computer literate & ability specifically Excel - pivots and VLookUps
• High level of numeracy
• 1-3 Years relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or related environment.

The position offers 3 levels : -

Junior - Degree in Supply Chain or related with 1 year buying experience = R10-R12,000 + benefits

Experienced - Nat.Dip in Supply Chain or related with 5 years Buying in the food industry = R12-R14,000 + benefits

Senior - 10+ experience in Buying - Food Industry = R18,000 + benefits
