Exp + ability to work independently on following equipment:
S5/S7/PCS7 PLC
Siemens drives AC/ DC
WinCC
Yokogawa DCS
Exp general control & field instrumentation
3 yrs’ exp as instrumentation tech in Industrial / Manufacturing enviro ESSENTIAL.
Knowledge of Hydraulic + pneumatic systems.
Report writing & data trending or analysis for reliability engineering.
Able to work under pressure + meet work deadlines + attention to detail
PC literate with thorough knowledge of PeopleSoft, DOS, Supervisory, Domino Doc & MS Office ESSENTIAL
Perform standby duties
Provide first line maintenance support to ensure 24 hours coverage in order to enhance plant availability, product quality & cost
Perform combination of Electrical & Instrumentation tasks
Provide service to production to minimize delay times.
Shutdown schedules & tasks
Test spares.
Maintain store items (spares) &identify and manage LRU’s
Work in close relation with other artisans.
Investigate\fault find\Implement\manage improvements based on data mining +reports
Improve\Maintain\manage electrical standards.
Prepared & physically able to work in environments with heat, noise, dust, acid, confined space & heights.
