C# .Net Developer

Location: V&A Waterfront, Cape Town
Salary: R350k per annum

Requirements:
Programming experience on a product with these technologies:
C#
.NET 3.5
General experience with Microsoft SQL server
A desire and aptitude for developing financial and mathematical products
Computer Science / Engineering degree or equivalent
Fast learner
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Willingness to ask questions
Strong communication skills

Ideal Experience
Knowledge of finance in the performance measurement / asset management field
Aptitude for mathematics / statistics

Consuming RESTful APIs

Duties:
Perform maintenance of existing versions of the product
Develop new features for future versions of the product
Adhere to technical specifications and coding standards
Own your schedule; providing estimates of development effort and progress updates to the team
Work within the confines of a source control system, e.g. Subversion
Review peers’ code against coding standards
Assist with technical support queries
Resolve issues logged by Quality Assurance analysts and client support personnel
Follow established workflows
