Requirements:
? National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
? Proven drawing experience on Inventor/AutoCAD
? Minimum 5 years relevant draughtsman, design and projects experience
? Sound electrical and mechanical knowledge

Responsibilities:
Aiding engineers in preparing the design documents (P&ID’s, 3D CAD drawings, 2D manufacturing drawings and plant layouts)
Managing and maintaining all site drawings and ensuring drawing standards are kept
Managing continuous improvement projects as well as machine upgrades
Other duties include:
? Assist other engineers with proof of concept drawings
? Create technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations
? Mark-up and redlining of drawings
? Ensure drawings meet quality standards
? Maintain P&IDs, Layouts and Mechanical machine and tooling drawings
? Perform project and other buying duties
? Project cot estimation and cost tracking
? Monitor plant performance and implement permanent corrective actions to increase productivity
? Work according to instructions, procedures as pertaining to operation function as assigned and abide by all legal requirements and
company policies
