Category Buyer Needed to facilitate the effective management of category 1 & 2: Cement, Wet Trade, Fencing , Roofing, Openings &Joinery, Structural Timber, Flat Sheet and Boards at regional level.

Key Responsibilities

Improve Loyalty of retailers in conjunction with ROMs

Manage organic growth for retailers

Manage supply chain and conduct regular meetings with regional and national suppliers

Manage Retailer Supplier Trade Agreements with approval from Central Office

Manage Promotional deals and pricing of promotions in the region

Negotiate the achieve budgeted dropshipment and retail gross profits

Effectively launch house brand products at retail including point of sale and stands

Offer leadership and advice to retailers in respect of category related issues

Drive loyalty interms of monitoring sales and new products

Requirements

Matric- Manditory

National Certificate/ Diploma/Degree in Marketing Management, Purchasing or Commerce required

2 years buying experience in Hardware Retail Environment

3-5 years' experience in-store retail management experience

Strong negotiation skills

Computer literate

Team worker who can also work independently
