We are looking for a Central Sales & Marketing Officer reporting directly to the Sales & Business Development Manager, South Africa Cluster. This position is based at our South African Agency in Durban.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Market identification by trade • Perform customer segmentation • Define & pilot commercial strategy and opportunities (budget, action plan…) • Report to Lines issues related to pricing, routing • Build & analyze vessel profiles • Produce commercial forecasts and reports • Maintain marketing tools, including local website

Experience and requirements

• Experience in the shipping industry will be an advantage • Sales and Marketing Background • Matric (Post matric qualification will be an advantage) • Ability to work under pressure • Attention to detail • Good communication skills • Intermediate to advance, Computer skills • Proficient on Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
