A subsidiary of a Global Financial Services Company requires your experience and proven passion for investment industry in the capacity of a Centralised Payments Team Supervisor.

Job Specification;

• Process payments and assist with general administrative tasks within the Payments Team
• Checking of payment instructions details against supporting documentation
• Monitoring, tracking, auditing and allocating payments on the centralised payments workflow system
• Overseeing the maintenance of static data and templates on the centralised payments workflow system
• Processing and authorising payments on external banking platforms
• Confirming payment settlements back to Client Service Teams
• Establish and report performance metrics for the Centralised Payments Team
• Filing of payments back-up
• Assisting with payment input queries and reconciliations
• Involvement in additional add hoc tasks presented to the payments team
• Liaison with Client Service Teams principally in SA and the Channel Islands

Minimum Requirements;

• Minimum of 5 years relevant industry working experience in an administrative or payments related role
• Finance/Economics/other relevant degree for the finance industry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
