Industrial concern based in Midrand requires a CA(SA) from an Industrial background/Construction/Engineering. Candidate must have 10 years experience as a Group Financial Manager, Costing and project management. Registered Chartered Accountant SA essential. Excellent knowledge of local financial legislation; i.e. SARS, Company Act,

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The production and coordination of actuals, annual forecasts, monthly estimates and long term business plans.
• Perform pro-active business controlling activities and drive cost awareness in the company and management team in order to achieve short and long term financial targets.
• Management of cash flow activities.
• Implement and secure financial guidelines and routines.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis as required, including relevant comments.
• Ensure correct financial results.
• Responsible for implementing and monitoring effective information systems to support sound financial information.
• Management of internal control issues.
• Active participation in the development of new business strategies.
• Analysis of budget and forecast to the financial year end on a monthly basis.
• Ensure that all policies within the area of responsibility are adhered to.
• To lead according to the Company’s Policies.
• Fully accept and demonstrate the complete range of managerial responsibilities.
