Salary: R7 000p/m & Benefits

Responsible for the preparation of assigned dishes, ensuring that the highest standards are followed in line with the property standards. Assists the Head Chef, the Senior Sous Chefs and the Junior Sous Chefs in ensuring efficient kitchen operations in the Lodge, with focus on quality food, effective team work, cleanliness and hygiene.

• Preparation of food to the highest standards
• Hosting meal venues, assisting in the smooth operations of functions
• Follow strict guidelines for portion and stock control
Requirements – Qualifications and Skills:
• At least 2 years professional experience in kitchen operations
• Good knowledge of food preparation
• Grade 12 and formal Chef qualification advantageous
• Detail orientated
• Flexible
• Team player
